Yup.....the Leica version of the X3 Nano and X-Pro II doesn't work well on my SL2 and SL3 either.  I used it to fire my Lux Master and AD300 and the TTL exposures are totally erratic!!!!
Sometimes grossly overexposed and sometimes grossly underexposed.  Guess the Godox TTL doesn't talk well with Leica.

In the end, I just bought an auto-sensor for my Lux Master and it is more accurate than the wireless triggers.  Still have to use back my Profotos for more serious shoots.

I am use both just fine. Just keep in mind both need latest firmware and not all flash from Godoy can do Ttl with these triggers

Then you use the wrong Godox Flash or have a old Firmware on Flash or Camera, please verify firmware version of your flash, X3 and your SL2.
The X3-L on my SL2 did not worked in TTL using a Godox TT685 as it is/was wrongly shown as compatible and i have to replace them with V1 strobes and they work perfect in TTL on the SL2.

Additionally, our technical team mentioned that the TT685IIC does not support X3L, whereas the V1/V100/V1PRO/V860IIIC models are all compatible. This is likely the reason why you are unable to use TTL.

Hi, I have a Godox V860III N that I used with my now departed Nikon kit, if I have understood the comments in this thread correctly I can use this flash with my SL2 using a Godox wireless trigger?

If I am correct and I can trigger the V860 III and use it with my SL2 then the next question is which trigger the X3/L or XPro II?

I will be using the flash bounced off walls and ceilings to photograph my granddaughter and maybe some fill-in flash outdoors.

Any help or guidance would be welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Martin

Thanks for the advice Chris.
Will check on it and see if upgrading the firmware helps.

Will do!!!   Just hope it’s just a firmware issue.

Thanks for the advice

May I ask if the SL3 + X3 + Lux Master combination can currently work with TTL and HSS without issues? I’d like to confirm the latest real-world experience. I’m planning to buy this setup, but if it doesn’t work, I probably won’t need to get the X3 and could just use a PC sync cable for manual control instead.

Thanks

Unfortunately, the Godox X3 does not fully support the SL3 (using TTL or HSS) as of this writing. I hope they will fix this soon with firmware. You can shoot in manual (legacy mode) or run a sync cable from the camera to the Lux Master. I believe only Profoto has a working off-camera system. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
