troyfreund Posted November 24, 2007 Share #3 Posted November 24, 2007 I second the suggestion of KEH.com. I've bought lenses from them before and have always been satisfied with the service and selection. Troy

Guest rubidium Posted November 28, 2007 Share #6 Posted November 28, 2007 Frank, Ken Hansen in NYC is about as reliable as they come regarding demo and used R gear. He's semi-retired and no longer operates a brick-and-mortar shop as he did for many years, but still deals out of his apartment and has considerable stock. If there's any reason whatsoever that you're unhappy with what he sends you, he 's accepts it right back with no questions asked. I got my R9 and DMR new from him, as well as the 180/2.0 Apo and 280/4.0 Apo both in spectacular mint condition over the course of the last 2 years. Drop an email to khpny19@aol.com indicating what you want. I also have his phone number at home, but I'm not at home presently. Also, I've made some good deals with Eli Kurland (Google for the web site), also in NYC. I got a great demo 100/2.8 Apo Macro and associated Elpro attachment from him a couple of years ago. He also lists lots of Leica gear on eBay, the conditions of which are rated quite conservatively. Jim

His sage advice, wide berth of knowledge (Leica & otherwise) and manner are treasured by me. Ben
