Q3 - spot AF focus mode - "return to center" feature

I've looked this up and can't find anything. Also it might just be me... but is there a "return to center" feature for spot focus?

I have AF mode set to "Spot", so I manual move the focus point around. I nearly always use the viewfinder, not live view. Occasionally, and quite randomly it seems, the focus point returns to the center. This is a feature I'd quite like to have, but I haven't found out if I a mistakenly pressing something that is making the focus point jump back to the middle or if it is a feature that I am not ware of. The only way I can make the focus point jump across the screen that I understand is if I happen to move my face away from the viewfinder and switch momentarily into live view, then touch the screen with my nose or finger which makes the point jump.

I guess that was what I inadvertently doing. I've also found it in the manual now.
