I don’t think so. I have the 35 and it is comfortable with one large lens  (24-90 SL) attached and another in the other pocket (14-24 or APO SL). There is room for an M lens stacked below the second lens, but it is not too comfortable since you have to take out the second lens to reach it. Can’t see you fitting in an M camera with two large lenses.

I think the 35 is ideal for SL with two large lenses.  The top loading format is very comfortable for this set-up, the downside is that it wastes quite a bit of space.

Argh, another bag topic. I have a SL2s with the 24-90, as well as a panasonic 70-200/4.

Will this fit, together with a m plus 28summaron in the 35?

Thanks.

I highly recommend avoiding the larger Rucksack 25 as the dividers do not attach to the bottom of the bag insert nor are they tall enough to "seal" against the top of the bag. As a result, loose items do not stay where you put them. Even things like camera straps can slide under or over the dividers, and you can have your strap buckles scratching against your lenses, etc. Very poor design IMO and only useful as a non-photo backpack (by removing the insert and using it to start your campfire 🔥).

I really like my Hadley’s, and love to have a weather proof backpack, mainly for day/city trips.
Looks like you’re not really happy with it.

I really tried to make mine work. I even bought a second insert set for it as I needed additional dividers. I guess it would be ok if you strictly use larger lenses in the dividers, but small M lenses WILL eventually slide under or over one of the dividers and end up somewhere other than intended. (Perhaps keeping smaller M lenses in a pouch of some kind might help keep them in their dividers.)

A much better bag would be the Eventer. I have the original one, not the updated one, and it works well for a system the size of the SL. I used to use it for my GFX system, where it nicely can stack two smaller lenses vertically due to the provided flap divider that only has a Velcro flap on one side allowing it to act as a "door/flap" divider within a vertical section.

Here was my past post about adding more dividers to the Rucksack 25 to make enough sections for M lenses. The problem was in use the front and back sides of the bag (the parts above and below the inserts) will gap as the bag is moved around. I even tried using extra dividers below the sections to better seal them, but it was in vain.

I’ve been satisfied with both the Hadley One and Rucksack 25 as different carrying options for my SL2 kit.  That kit keeps getting smaller over time, however, formerly including the 24-90, 90-280 and SL75. These larger carry options were primarily obtained to accommodate the 90-280. But I’ve since sold the 75, and likely will sell the infrequently used 90-280.  The remaining body/zoom will easily fit in a couple of my smaller bags.

Will this fit

The thing with bags is that fitting is not the most important of it but rather the handiness of getting the lens out that you need for that situation. So I wouldn’t buy it to small, at too small bag costs time and inconvenience.

The thing with bags is that personal use cases and preferences/tastes differ widely.  I, for instance, rarely shoot when using a bag; using it instead for transport to location, often in a car (or hotel for travel).

This is why there is no perfect, all-occcasion, bag.  And in large part why these discussions proliferate.

Thanks all for feedback. Regarding Jeff’s post, the bag will be used for daily trips, either in the city or on the hills, where most likely, one cam will be in the hand.

Nowadays I use a shoulder bag and when out full day, I start to feel it, hence my thought of a backpack.

That said, I guess it depends on the lens which will accompany the 24-90, the 35 might be perfect, or might not be. At least it looks more practical due to its front pocket.

Thought I give an update. Had a city trip last week and took a SL plus 90-280, m plus sonnar and summaron. It fitted nicely in the bag including a pullover.

Love the separate pocket for little stuff. Satisfied with the back.
