Snowman Posted December 23, 2023 Share #1 Posted December 23, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, My new Leica Q3 arrived and have a couple of questions. 1. I notice (when compared to my old Q2) when I take a single picture there is an increase of the blackout, even with a fast shutter speed. It does not bother me that much but it is longer than the Q2, is this the case? 2. Focusing is certainly quicker, but the AF focusing experience is different from the Q2. Hard to describe but when it focuses (which is spot on) the image seems blur for a mil sec, hard to describe but different from the Q2, but focusing is spot on. Notice it more at a higher f number. Its like the image for a mil sec or so is stretched vertically. I'm thinking that is something to do with the new AF focusing mech phase detection focusing that gives this experience. Interested to hear from other Q2 to migrated Q3 users, Nick Edited December 23, 2023 by Snowman
