Guest malland Posted November 23, 2007 Share #21 Posted November 23, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) ...I am itching to find new locations. One that I have been considering is RIO for carnival. Peter Turnley is leading another 10 day travel/workshop (available thru the Maine Photographic Resources ).....this could be an ideal situation as I would surely miss a lot if I just went to Rio by myself...Coming back to your original post, please don't take it this as a criticism because we each have our own preferences, but I would have thought that you would have been "workshopped out" or at least "Peter Turnleyed out", after your recent workshop. To me, while a workshop can be interesting and useful, I would prefer a second workshop with someone else and on another subject were I to take another workshop so soon after the previous one. I must also say that I would prefer to discover a new city like Rio for myself rather than through a workshop. As I said, people are all different -- but still... Taken from a hotel window with the D-Lux-3 on a trip without a workshop: Incidentally, I don't see why this thread should be on the M8 Foeum rather than on the Digital Forum, but it's no big deal. —Mitch/Paris Mitch Alland's slideshow on Flickr

Why digital? Last time I looked you could take street shots with film <grin> Might I suggest the customer forum.
Guest stnami Posted November 24, 2007 Share #23 Posted November 24, 2007 From now on everything stays in the M8 forum as there is less traffic,,,,, other than "My M8 is stuffed again" which is answered by "Sorry to hear that, but mine isn't" and " Should I buy a M8, I have looked through the archives and my question is thoroughly answered and I still don't know"..................... ,,,the forum is bare of information . . . . . I wonder is Mr P. Turkey did a special thanksgiving workshop.............
