I have only had it for about a year and a half, but it has found constant use for me here at least. Here are a few favorites I have taken since then. Welcome, dear visitor! I’m trying to simplify my kit. The 24-90 is currently the only lens I use with the SL2, even though I have always preferred primes.  My M system will have to suffice for that, at least until I find a smaller mirrorless alternative that complements the M. Kristofferpaulsen Posted December 7, 2023 Share #22  Posted December 7, 2023 hello! I've never tried the 24-70, as my leica guy pleaded with me to go the 24-90 instead.. and i can say that two years on, it constantly amazes me at how insanely good it is. The sharpness and colour is absolutely astonishing. I was shooting an architecture project last week, and using my adapted Canon shift lenses, then popped my 24-90 on for a tighter shot and even though i've seen images from the lens a million times before i was so taken aback at just how good it is. It does however, but me when I'm doing something like trying to shoot music where i'm zooming in and out how the aperture is not constant, and it is a little on the slow side.. But I've got the 50 'lux and the 90 apo, which are both bonkers as well.. I had the 90-280 for a minute, but i use that focal length so little that it didn't really make sense for me to have that much money just sitting there being used occasionally, so I traded it for an SL2s, which has been a great choice. (I just borrow one when I need it, and honestly if I needed a long zoom like that I'd probably just get the Panasonic, it's so much cheaper).
