Hi, instead of the Nexto Di NPS 10, a new device is available.

It is the Clouzen Tainer with ssd. The official name is ClouZen CLTN-001-V2 TAINER CL-TN001S 😉

It is expensive though.

best regards,

René

Nice gadget indeed, but meant for professionals I suspect

Surely it’s cheaper, faster, safer, to simply exchange SD cards and block them from being overwritten? Why bother faffing about with making the process more complicated than it needs to be?

Cheaper and faster yes. Safer no. If it works for you fine. One day that SD will fail and not be recoverable.

"Why bother .... ?" It's called a backup strategy.

When travelling you really haven't got the image, unless it's backed up in at least 3 places. Personally, I used the SD card initially, a SSD I carry with me, a HDD back at base, plus a cloud back-up done once a day. Only when I've got the hardware (SSD & HDD) and cloud backups done do I reformat the SD card/s.

FYI the little lock on the SD card isn't reliable.
