Hello everyone

I was wondering if you kindly help me solve a puzzle with my Leica q3: When I film and make a panning shot, the clip starts to jerk after a few seconds - i.e., it starts out smoothly but then starts to jerk/choppy. I am using C4K at 24 fps, the shutter speed is set at 1/50 and stabilization is off (I have tried with on as well, without any changes). I have used the same card (sandisk 512 gb extreme pro at 170mb/s) for shooting 4k videos on other cameras without any issues. I have formatted the card in the camera twice now.

I am all out of ideas! Can you suggest any workaround? Much appreciated.

Can you post an example as a YouTube clip? Like others have said, 24p can be super choppy when panning. Other than that, I’d question if it’s your comps ability to play it back smoothly or not or if you are playing from the file on the sd card through comp. Id say copy the video file to your local directory and play it from there to see if it’s choppy still.
