Anyone know if the download driver from SanDisk is required or does Leopard already contain it? Sometimes, it’s better to trust the OS having it already loaded. I’ve already had my share of “Gee, I wish I knew that before hand…” Regards,

rtphotos Posted November 18, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 18, 2007 Hi Daniel, I picked up Sandisk Express/34 MultiCard yesterday, too. I have a macbookpro running Tiger. I simply inserted the reader into the 34 slot and "it just works". spiffy! rt

Hi Daniel, You shouldn't need a separate driver for a card reader. Can you report if it works with 4G SD cards? Some card readers don't and I want to buy one that does. As for the formats supported & according to the packaging: SD / SDHC / MultiMediaCard / MMCPlus / Memory Stick PRO Duo & Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo. Regards, Thanks Daniel, One that I have (which doesn't work with 4G) has that same format support info on the packaging. Another one does work but it is USB and I'd like to use the express card slot and free up a port. I guess since SD specifications don't cover 4G it becomes a matter of luck.
