drjoke Posted November 18, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I really enjoy my M-Hexanon 50mm on my Zeiss Ikon. However, I am reading in two places that it may have problems with focusing accuracy on Leica M8, whereas it has no problems with Zeiss Ikon or Leica film rangefinders. Konica Hexanon 50mm f2 KM - focus & fit | siliceous Reid also mentions this issue in his review of 28MM lenses. However, it seems from browsing this forum here that no one has this problem with their M8. Does anyone have this problem? I plan to upgrade to Leica M8 sometime in the future, and would like to know if I will get to take my Hexanon with me.
Advertisement Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Hi drjoke, Take a look here M-Hexanon 50mm and M8. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
vadims Posted November 27, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2007 Yes, unfortunately I have seen this problem. My M-Hexanon 50mm 2.0 had very noticeable backfocus, about 2-2,5 sm. Had to sell it together with Hexar RF, what a pity, such a great lense.
