Orguy Posted October 31, 2023 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) When I take a Q3 shot on full auto PASM with the exposure compensation set to 0, the shot sometimes is taken with -1 stop. And sometimes not, i.e. it is zero as expected. Is this a quirk/bug or is there some other setting I may have inadvertantly set that causes this behaviour? Advertisement Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Hi Orguy, Take a look here Exposure compensation changes automatically, intermittently, on new Q3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Le Chef Posted October 31, 2023 Share #2 Posted October 31, 2023 If everything is set to Auto (Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, Focus, Metering etc) then the camera is making its best decisions based on an algorithm. If you don’t like the results, then change the settings to ones that work better for you.
