I was listening to a recent Camerosity podcast and they had a photographer on speaking about using an old 35mm PC (perspective control) Nikkor lens to photograph panoramas.  This lens was a "holy grail" lens for me and I managed to pick one up a couple of decades ago.  Never used much it, but I could just never part with it.  So after listening to the podcast, I was inspired to give it a try.  Admittedly, there are easier ways to create a panorama.  But it has been such fun to use a lens, first designed in the 1960's in a way the designer could never have imagined.  I am using it on my ME type 220 (CCD) which created some challenges since I don't have live view and I'm forced to visualize in "panorama" which has been exciting in it's own way.  The results, while not earth shattering, have been quite pleasing to me.

Camerosity is one of my favorite podcasts - too many to list but my absolute "never miss" podcasts are Photowalk, LensWork and the Nikon Report.  What are some of your favorites and how have they inspired you go out and photograph in a new way?

Thanks for looking.
