I use these across the board, for the MF cameras and also the large Nikons. Very safe and quick,

There's an L-bracket made for the S that is sold on eBay. It fits well but doesn't seem as sturdy in the vertical position as the RRS. Otherwise, most generic Arca-Swiss compatible plates work well if you use both tripod sockets to prevent twisting. You might need to fit an adapter in the 3/8" socket to use two screws.

RRS S bracket used locating pin, probably most precise. I have RRS brackets on some of my lenses (Mamiya 645 and Leica R long lenses) that use either/both of the latter types which seems OK.

As the previous post states the RRS is almost impossible to find. There are a number of clunky (in my opinion) 2-part L-brackets on the market that will fit.

I have this one for my Hy6. Kind of bulky for the Leica S, since it measures over 3" long while the S base is about 2-1/2" so it will protrude more than 1/2" under the lens. (Please excuse the U.S. units, I didn't have a metric ruler handy.) Plus it is thicker than most Arca bases since it has the little legs that need to be accommodated,
