I am trying to figure out where is the "lock" image in review mode?

Part of my workflow in almost any camera I had, was to lock image in review mode to make sure that it won't accidentally deleted.

I was looking in the manual and couldn't find it.

Can it be that this feature doesn't exist?

Unfortunately, there is no lock feature at least for now.

I know of a less desirable option mentioned in the Q3 manual, which I have copy/pasted below. (I normally do not delete images from cameras, but only if I need the space and unable to transfer.)

TAGGING/RATING OF IMAGES
Images can be marked as favorites to find them quicker or to simplify the later deletion of multiple images. Tagging can be done in regular view mode or in the overviews.
Tagging a photos
▸ Press the FN button 2
• The image is marked with ★.
• The icon will appear in the header line on the far right when
viewing images in full size, and in the top left corner of the thumbnail in overview mode.
Removing a tag
▸ Press the FN button 2
• The ★ marking disappears.

DELETING IMAGES
There are several methods available to delete images:

– deleting individual images
– deleting multiple images
deleting all images without a icon/ranking
– deleting all images

DELETING UNRATED IMAGES
▸ Press the MENU button
▸ Select  Delete Unrated  in the play menu
• The prompt  Do you really want to delete all not rated files?  appears.
▸ Select  Yes
• The LED will flash during the deletion process. The process
may take a few seconds.

Even with this as an option, I'm still not 100% comfortable if you know what I mean. Hehe.

But I hope you or anyone else finds this useful.

Yes, I thought about this. Thanks :)

But ,it miss the point of lock, that is, for some reason you press on delete and it doesn't allow you.
Sometimes (a especially with good camera like Leica )  you capture stunning photo. The last thing you want to do is to some how accidentally delete it.

Yes, from the very beginning, I have been in complete agreement. They should make that an option.

I suppose if there are enough requests on the Leica FOTOS app to include this feature, then perhaps they may consider?

But at the moment, I would think they are more busy fixing bugs rather than adding features.
