Advertisement Posted October 23, 2023 Posted October 23, 2023 Hi stewartweir, Take a look here Is anyone using a Canon 17mm Tilt Shift on SL body?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ImmerDraussen Posted October 23, 2023 Share #2 Posted October 23, 2023 I‘m using the 24mm T/S in combination with the Sigma adaptor. Function and picture quality are perfect. The use is easier compared to a Canon EF body, because the Canon viewfinder is not good enough to show the exactly where to focus is sitting if you tilt.
robb Posted October 23, 2023 Share #3 Posted October 23, 2023 Yes I use both a 17 and 24 TS from canon with the Sigma “Canon EF to L” adapter mc21. great operation with all settings but you have to find one with the right number of pins. Sigma also makes a mc21 without the “canon” printed on the barrel. It is a sigma to L adapter and it doesn’t fit all canon lenses… look for these markings and three pins on the right side or the adapter would be wrong. Robb Welcome, dear visitor! Photoworks Posted October 24, 2023 Share #4 Posted October 24, 2023 If you are using the SL2 the sigma adapter will be the one to use. If you are using the SL 601 the adapter to use is the novoflex one. The tilt-shift lenses work well on SL2 for me

Bit of a niche question! Stewart Weir Instagram I've used both the 17 and 24 mm Canon TS-E lenses with both my SL 601 (novoflex adapter) and SL-2 (Sigma L adapter). No problems. I sold the 17mm a year or so ago because I rarely used it, but had no problems.
