Is www.used-photo.de a reputable seller?

Hello all,

I am looking to purchase a used Leica camera from eBay and saw a nice set listed by this seller with ID used-photo but he does not ship to Singapore.  He suggested that I visit his online store www.used-photo.de instead to purchase the camera.

May I check with fellow forum members (especially those from Germany), if this online shop is reputable/trustworthy to deal. They seem to be active at IS and flickr as well.

Thanks in advance for any information/suggestions.

I believe it’s through Roberts Camera, I picked up an Elmar lens through them described as rough and worn, wasn’t even close. It is a very nice lense.

I've purchased several lenses and bodies thru Used Photo (an affiliate of Roberts Camera  in Indianapolis, IN, USA). Generally their descriptions are very conservative, and they do offer refunds. I once did refund an item with no problems. ot sure about their policies re overseas sales & shipping though. Best bet is to telephone them directly.

I have dealth several times with this shop and found a few great lenses.
I am a very satisfied client and always had a friendly and nice contact with the shop owner Nick Herber.

The posts in this thread seem to be about two different businesses. Yossi mentions used-photo.de, which is run by Nick Herber in Germany, who gets a positive review from satijntje. The online shop owned by Roberts Camera in the US is called UsedPhotoPro.

I bought a M240 battery from Nick Herber (used-photo.de), shipment was fast and the item was as described in great condition.
