neelin Posted November 17, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) As a person from a technical-visual oriented career (construction plans, sketches, flow charts, etc.), like many others here, sometimes I find written language to be more of a hinderance than a help in getting to a solution (I can't fathom how cumbersome Law is, and even old style Surveying had incredible amounts of written descriptions). My tendancy is to start making a mental image of the camera functions people want and mentally charting, check boxing, tabulating them as a more instantly digestable "result". Even this "language" is poor because it is clumsy dealing with minor varients of the same "function request". If we're lucky and the right person a Leica see's the thread, he'll assign the newest employee (university graduate hotshot) the task of taking these EV/ISO threads and summarizing it on a single 3"x5" index card & leave room for mangement comments. I think that would be incredible communication. <my waste of words...OFF> robert

guywalder Posted November 17, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 17, 2007 if we're lucky the management will decide to stop p***ing about tinkering with M8 features and concentrate on it's replacement (I take it for granted that current functional shortcomings will be fixed in short order...)
