M11 AutoISO screen brightness ‘flash’ issue

Hi, wondering if this is normal behaviour but my M11 is pretty annoying when turning on the screen ‘live view’ when set on AutoISO and in low light. It sort of instantly pumps the brightness really bright for a moment before reducing down to ‘continuous exposure preview’ which i have it set to. It happens whenever the camera is turned on and the lens cap is on too, and the boost in brightness shows as red streaks for a moment. It’s almost as if the camera hits the max ISO setting limit, still can’t get ‘correct’ exposure and flips out and goes super bright screen gain before normalising.

Attached four images i screengrabbed from a video i can’t attach. First is the moment the button is pressed (normal exposure preview), second is just after (ramps up screen gain), third is a second later it normalises to exposure preview again.

Fourth is the screen gain moment with the lens cap on when the screen gain shows as red streaks

If it’s normal behaviour, it’s quite annoying, especially in low light situations to have your screen flash really bright every time the live view is turned on. Anyone else find this?

Doesn't happen in manual ISO and less noticeable or not happening in brighter lighting conditions

@Warton Yeah ok thanks for replying and good to know. Agree, but annoying if wanted a hipshot or weird stretch for an angle and want to quickly check composition you get this stupid screen flash. More irritating than anything. Sent to Leica, doubt they will bother doing a fix but who knows.
