stunsworth Posted November 17, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted November 17, 2007 Mark, yes, you need to download the latest version. Adobe have updates to the RAW plugin that add supported cameras. Provided you digital camera is one of those supported you should be ok.

andybarton Posted November 17, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted November 17, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) You need to double click the .dmg file then run the installer / package in the virtual disk that opens up. Â (.dmg files are "Disk Image" files)
stunsworth Posted November 17, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted November 17, 2007 Andy, I think Mark is using Windows - the location of the program is 'Program Files...' which is a Windows location
spylaw4 Posted November 17, 2007 Share #9 Â Posted November 17, 2007 And isn't .dmg a Mac format file - he needs a .zip surely?
andybarton Posted November 17, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted November 17, 2007 And isn't .dmg a Mac format file - he needs a .zip surely? Â Yes, but one of his earlier posts said that he'd dropped a .dmg file into his plug-ins folder. Â If Mark gets his CD that came with the D-Lux 3, all the files and plug ins he needs will be on there.
stunsworth Posted November 17, 2007 Share #11 Â Posted November 17, 2007 So he did. Â Mark, it sounds as if you've downloaded the Mac version of the plugin. If you use Windows you'll need the Windows version.

andybarton Posted November 17, 2007 Share #13  Posted November 17, 2007 When you open the RAW file in Elements, once you have converted it to 8 bit, you can Save As a jpg  There may even be a "Save for web" option ( i don't know, as I don't use that particular software)
