MJLogan Posted August 22, 2006 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) For some reason, the duotone printing thread below loads on my computer in an odd format, with no possibility to reply. So, unfortunately, a new thread. Photoshop duotone mode is meant to produce files that will be commercially printed (as in litho, not photo) in the specific PMS color inks used in the duotone. To do anything else with the images, convert them to a full-color format. To print duotones on 4/C printers, (or 5,6,7,8-color printers based on CMYK) simply change the Mode from Duotone to RGB or CMYK--whichever you habitually use. You can then judge whether the conversion has done anything unpleasant to your colors--it sometimes does--and then convert to TIFF or JPEG format.
