jklotz Posted November 16, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 16, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just received my milich adaptors for my CV lenses. I have a link to the chart telling what dots need to be white, and which shoudl be black. Can somebody tell me the BEST way to code them? I've heard model paint, nail polish, sharpies among others. I'd like to do this only once, so advice would be apriciated. James

James If you can get Humbrol (or similar) *matt* black and *matt* white model paint this is by far the best stuff to use - apply it with the smallest artists paint brush you can find (I use a Sablex size 1 - but 0 or 00 would be better) and make sure that you allow it to dry thoroughly before scraping off any excess with a craft knife blade. johnalex141r Posted November 16, 2007 Share #3 Posted November 16, 2007 Actually, I just use a toothpick, generally it'll pick up enough paint to do a dot or more. (I cut my own dimples; maybe Mr Millich makes his larger than mine?) Anyway, the toothpick, and, with my 48 year old eyes, a magnifier desklamp, makes it easy. (toothpicks and paint is not a new idea to me - but it may be new to others reading this) JohnS.
stephengilbert Posted November 16, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 16, 2007 I have a CV 15, and only painted the black indent. No white at all, and it works fine. I used a toothpick as well, just a bit of paint on the tip, and it filled the bottom of the indentation perfectly.
