Hi I just came back from a trip to Iceland. I had bought the S007 with S24mm, S35mm, S70mm, S120mm, S180mm. My impression was that carrying the SL2-S together with the 3 SL zooms would have allowed for greater flexibility, less weight (?) and that the the IQ wouldn't have been so different.

Since you used both the S007 and the S2-S, could you tell us what you think about that?
Thanks.

Pierre

Hi Pierre,

personally, I prefer the look of sensors with larger pixels. So on my positive list are:

S007, Sl2-s, Pentax 645z, Canon 1Dx3

The „negative“ list is

Sl2, Panasonic 1SR, Canon 5Dsr

Having said that, I find the picture quality of the S007 and Sl2-s very comparable. But still the colours of the S007 have a certain magic and of course, the S007 has more potential to crop.

The main difference for me is the handling. For landscape, the OFV is much better for to compose the picture. The Sl2-s is better in low light.

All in all I was pretty happy having both bodies with me.

Andreas
