Perceval Posted September 10, 2023 Share #1  Posted September 10, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a screw thread 28mm f3.5 lens that looks exactly like Kobalux/Pasoptik/Avenon/Bower branded lenses of the same specification but it has no maker's name (and no serial number). It feels substantial and performs excellently, with extremely good resolution. Single-coated, it has a little lest contract that moderns lenses. My guess is that it is part of a pre-production test run ? frame-it Posted September 10, 2023 Share #3 Â Posted September 10, 2023 Maybe a test model for the V2 version. "Originally made in 1981 in chrome with distinctive round focusing tab, a six-blade diaphragm and minimal focus to 1 meter. The second generation, or "M-series", was sold in black with a silver rim. It has a crescent-shaped focusing tab, an eight-blade diaphragm, grip tabs on the aperture ring and minimal focus to 0.75 meter."
PMCK Posted September 11, 2023 Share #4  Posted September 11, 2023 Thanks, frame-it. Six-blade diaphragm, 1 metre closest focus, matt silver/chrome finish but depth-of-field scale is on polished chrome. Unusual to have a capital F in the max aperture description.
