Hi friends,

apologies in advance for the newbie question but this is my first Leica with USB-C charging.

How do I know if it is charging? There's a symbol next to the battery status showing that the camera is powered by USB-C but I don't know if that means it's charging or not. An hour and half later the battery seems to still hover around the same 60% it came with.

Eventually the camera turned itself onto standby and the lightly green light right above the back panel display started blinking. Does that mean it's charging?

Thanks and sorry for the newbness!

Thank you Yvonne. Appreciate your help!

Realised that the connection is a bit fiddly. It has stopped charging at around 70% and wouldn't go further until I tried a different usb-c charging cable i had and now it continues to charge. Odd, but at least now I know which cable works better ;)

Indeed not all USB-c cables are charging cables in my experience. I have some Otterbox c-c  cable cables which are definitely good for charging.

Glad you’ve found the solution! Looking forward to see your results of this wonderful camera soon :)
