The problem is that the fare is not light the same from top to bottom, it always has a band that is dark.

I saw a black band at top of one of the 1/4000 sec photos but not the others. I will re retest with a wall today but I see no “dark band” in the window image

well, lightning struck. I went to retest today and the initial shots were over exposed significantly.

Resetting things didn't help in fact now it doesn't sync at all!

Time ran out on my testing but I'll do more over xmas. ITs too weird that a reset of the strobe itself broke everything else completely!

Seems there is a new firmware (from flashpoint) recently release I may look at also
