Is the new XPROIIL not compatible with Leica M11?

https://www.godox.com/product-a/XProIIL.html

I emailed Godox a few times earlier this year asking them about the M11. It might be worth another try if you are interested (servicesupport at godox dot com). Below is what they told me...

Good day!

Thanks for your email.
In response to your inquiry, our technician said they still hadn't rented the Leica M11 yet.
We sincerely apologize for this.

Here's an intuitive way to let you know if they're compatible.
Are you planning to test your M11 with the XproIIL trigger at a local Godox dealer's store?
This will give you a better idea of the performance of our products.

Thank you for your understanding.

Did the change the TTL Flash metering from the M10 to the M11?  I could understand SL being different, maybe Q-Series, but M10 vs M11? Weird...

godox lights and triggers are fantastic, all i need is the specific brand specific trigger and all my strobes and speedlights work without any issues.

that said, the support for leica M's are terrible... 🙃

I'll go next week to my Godox dealer with both the M11 and the Q3 in the bag, as well as my V1S. I'll ask for the wireless trigger and try some stuff in the shop. I'll revert with results.

you are waisting time, they are not supported, it says it in the Godox trigger manual.

Yet old Leica TTL flashes that were long discountinued before the M11 came out  still work fine in TTL ?

They are not fully compatible. they only work in TTL when set to 1/180. If you put the flash an A it doesn't fire.

for me this means that the M11 TTL system has not been changed substantially from the M10. Or am I missing something?

The way the camera reads the flash exposure is new in M11. In any case the Godox trigger does NOT work on M11 in TTL, only in manual mode.

Most people buy older nikon flashes with "A" function on it, and set aperture and iso.

The only flash that work across all new leica cameras ( Q, M SL, S ) are SF 60 and SF 40.

took this today godox proII on the m11 and using an ad200 (well the flashpoint version which is identical) 1/4000 sec ttl. focus wasn't a consideration so its terrible and this was at noon so it was daylight outside
