If it had 'Leica' on it I would not have been surprised. I can only reiterate what the reviewers on the site have said. I only wanted a base plate, my first choice would have been RRS, but they don't export to the UK,and even if they did charges, P&P, VAT and duty would have been exorbitant. This was my next choice, shipped internally from UK. Weights for info. Complete with Allen key stowed...139gm or 4.9oz Base only, no key...79gm or 2.8oz Allen key...9gm or 0.3oz Edited August 31, 2023 by Dave in Wales
 Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B087417MM6/ref=pe_27063361_487055811_TE_3p_dp_1 One word review......SUPERB. Advertisement Posted August 31, 2023 Posted August 31, 2023 Hi Dave in Wales, Take a look here Peipro 'L' plate for SL2/SL2-A. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Photoworks Posted August 31, 2023 Share #2 Posted August 31, 2023 There are some benefits here over the RRS 1. The magnet of the fallen key on the RRS is stupid. it always falls off. 2. There are no mounting holes on the side, but a trap quick mount that I don't use.
