dpjonestown Posted August 29, 2023 Share #1  Posted August 29, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hey, ordered a used SL2 from MPB and a 24-90 from KEH. Had to send the first body back for a battery ejection issue. The replacement used body from MPB, with the same lens, the images are not as sharp as the ones with the first body. And it's almost like a haze over the image. Doesn't matter what focal length, but all images were taken wide open. I assume it is an issue with the body. Maybe the sensor? It looks clean to me. Is this something that someone can comment on? Firmware is current. Photos taken both on a tripod with stabilization turned off and hand held with stabilization turned on. Sample photo is 90mm,100 iso f4, tripod, stabilization turned off. Lens is a little tight screwing onto the body, as well. Have tried manual and auto focus, both with same results. 25 years working with cameras so I hope it isn't user error. Thanks Welcome, dear visitor!
