Hello everyone,

Recently I've been searching for a new thumb grip for my M240 because the one I'm currently using won't go all the way into the hotshoe. I'm wondering if it would the same case for the much more expensive match technical thumbs up grip ep-10s? Could you guys send me some photos if you have one installed on your M240s? Thank you very much!

Best,

Ron

Match Technical Thumbs-Up devices are a perfect fit. Well machined and worth every penny. I had one for my 240, and have one now for my M10-R.

I used ThumbsUp on both my M9 and M-P (240). Worked fine on both. I replaced both with Thumbies. They simply attach to the body and leave the flash accessory shoe free for an EVF or whatever. You can get them from Steve Barnet (barnet@globalnet.co.uk)  I purchased mine directly from Mr Barnet, but you can also get them through his eBay store.

I have both the “ordinary” and “cold shoe” versions of the Match Technical “Thumbs Up” for my M typ 240. Both fit perfectly. No “ifs or buts”. I don’t like to be without one.

i can’t put my hands immediately on the ‘ordinary’ one, though. I use the ‘cold shoe’ version, all the time, even when I’m not using the brightline finder for my ZM 18mm Distagon (which is why I bought it) because it’s just as good (and comfortable) as the other and (for me) has no downsides (except, maybe, for appearance - which I don’t care about much).
