For 5 years "Peak Design Everyday Sling 6L" for my M-P with lens attached and a second stowed.  Before that I had the same model in 5L, which I found better. But this unfortunately broke after 2 years. The 6L was my replacement from Peak Design, because the 5L was no longer "new".
For more I have a "Think Tank Retrospective 6". This is strangely roomier, even my D3x + 1 lens fit in there.
Cheers

If you like Ona Bond Street style leather bags, Amazon has a rather nice copy for a reasonable price.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076ZRBQDP?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I have one, and with a second interior divider it holds my MP 240 with a small prime (LLL 35 8E or CV 40 1.4), 2 additional small primes (a CV 28 & LLL 50 Elcan) joined via a dual sided lens cap, Olympus viewfinder, extra battery, plus memory cards, lens cloths, small filter pouch for my one 39mm ND filter, card reader for my iPhone, etc in the front pocket. I store my phone in the rear pocket.

Leather is great. Interior is well finished and well padded. Hardware is nice, especially given the price. The strap, however, isn't the most comfortable, but it's removable and easily upgraded.

Thanks for the tip! I've been looking for ages for a small leather camera bag for just the M/lens and an additional lens that also has some pockets for phone, money etc. And that doesn't break the bank... This looks great and seems to be even slightly smaller than the ONA. If only it was a little less high, I don't like the square look that much. Well, as it's from Amazon I can just have a look and see how it fits. The only other candidate so far is the Compagnon Nano Messenger, which is less high, but longer and more than twice the price. While I love my big Compagnon Messenger, the Nano just didn't convince me so far.

You can carry your Leica M in any bag you want... the thieves will NOT target it if your red dot is taped over.

Same difference. I really don't think most thieves know that the one with the red dot is more expensive than other camera-shaped things. Most of them surely just grab what they can get when you give them the chance. Or is there any statistic that shows that the dotless P-models are less often stolen than the regular models with the dot?

Or wait, was this sarcasm? 😬
