Guest Posted August 18, 2023 Share #1 Posted August 18, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi folks, I recently spent two months on the road, opting to take the more travel friendly CL while leaving my S kit at home. Well, I took the big rig out yesterday, and, yuck, the leatherette was all grimy and slimy and sticky. In other words, much of the body was covered in a thin veneer of mold. I was surprised I didn’t find any worms hanging out in the mirror box. Anyway, this is Northern California climate, I should have stashed it someplace more appropriate I guess. I cleaned it off, washed my hands and my face for another hour, and am down in LA this weekend, ready to put the S to good use. I hope nothing has crept inside the body, but the test shots I fired off earlier today look fine. This just as a word of caution - even if you don’t use it, your gear must be well taken care of and stored properly. Lesson learned.
