Advertisement Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Hi IanrM, Take a look here Digitising slides with Q3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pcgarner Posted August 14, 2023 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2023 Could you elaborate on what you mean?
IanrM Posted August 14, 2023 Author Share #3 Posted August 14, 2023 Yes Copying old transparencies (slides) by taking a photograph of them with the Q3 and thus digitising them. I used to do this with my Nikon D850 and the ES2 kit and was wondering if the Q3 will work
Ivan M Posted August 14, 2023 Share #4 Posted August 14, 2023 Put it in MACRO mode and back light the slide and take the pic stopped down to F8 or F11, should work.
Aram Langhans Posted August 20, 2023 Share #5 Posted August 20, 2023 Since the Q cameras do not go to 1:1 in their "Macro" mode, using them for duplicating slides would not be my choice, but if it is the only camera you have, give it a try. You will have to crop quite a bit.
