robgo2 Posted August 5, 2023 Share #1 Posted August 5, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) A few pixels show up in CL images at "to fit" size on my monitor, but they disappear at 100% size. Why might this happen, and is there any way to fix it?
Advertisement Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 Hi robgo2, Take a look here CL--Is there a way to map dead pixels?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
raadoo Posted August 11, 2023 Share #2 Posted August 11, 2023 If the apparent dead pixels suddenly disappear at 100% viewing, then it's not something to do with either the camera or the individual photos. Most likely culprit is the software you're viewing in as well as the kind of video acceleration it employs. Without knowing much about your setup, I would guess that you're viewing these images using a piece of software that uses software acceleration on a processor without a capable iGPU or a very basic image viewing software that hasn't implemented a modern image scaling technique.
