Leica Qn aperture sweet spot?

We all know how much good is the Summilux lens provided with the Leica Qn.

Even if it's fantastic at any aperture, for sure there will be one which will be even better ("sweet spot").

Based on technical information as well as your esperience, what is the "sweet spot" aperture of this lens?

For me the aperture choice is more determined by my DOF choice than for image quality per se. In terms of softening coming in due to diffraction, that is pixel size dependent so I tend to limit myself to f8 at the top end for my Q3, whereas for the Q I would be happy at f11.

Whatever f stop the scene requires. What do you want to know exactly? The lens in the Q1-3 is good in the centre from f/1.7. The edges get better beyond f/5.6. Diffraction sets in about f/6.3. above that it’s a tradeoff between DoF and loss of resolution due to diffraction. If you need tack sharp front to back I‘d suggest to focus stack the scene and use f/4 or f/2.8 as that’s probably where the lens has the most resolution.

These answers were exactly what I was searching for. Of course the aperture can be different following the picture needs, but some indication like the one you both  wrote are good guidelines in case I could choose a value or another.
