rondeb Posted November 14, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone. I've searched the forums to no avail and so I'm asking if anyone if anyone can help me out. There was a thread within the last few weeks in which there were a few posts about this "amazing" book written by a controversial(I think) photographer. The book has many photos that are supposed to be incredible and I know the issue of white balance being discussed as not being important. I know this is vague, but if anyone can help me out I sooo appreciate it! Best, Ron
Advertisement Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Hi rondeb, Take a look here A little help with my memory.... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ken_tanaka Posted November 14, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 14, 2007 I think you're referring to A Kind of Rapture, Ron. I own the book and I wouldn't call the work "amazing" by any stretch. But it is a unique body of images worth a look. If you can grab a used copy for $20 or so I think you'll find it interesting.
rondeb Posted November 14, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted November 14, 2007 Thank you. Sean R. also remembered. Thank you again as well. Since I brought it up - anyone care to give a mini-review? Best, Ron
