I was about to go trade in my Q2 Reporter for a Q3, but this thread has me second guessing that decision.

My Sony A7S3 + Sony 24mm f/1.4 / Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 is what I use for video, but the 12MP resolution is extremely limiting for being able to crop/reframe photos. I bought a Leica CL + 23mm f/2 as a more portable, higher resolution camera and have been quite happy with it. Really nice photos, but fairly awful low-light performance. The CL definitely has a "look" to it in terms of color rendition and focus roll-off. I tried the Q, but found it to be far too similar to the CL and I wasn't a fan of the menu/button layout. I'll keep the CL forever because of how small/nice it is.

So I purchased the Q2 to have an "every day" camera that delivers high quality photos and better low-light. I've been mostly happy with it, but the Q3 is interesting to me because of the 4K60 video capabilities (can leave the A7S3 in the hotel some days while traveling), flip screen, better low-light performance, autofocus improvements, and other creature comforts (e.g. USB-C charging). I find the Q2 to be closer to the Sony in terms of the "look" whereas I was wishing it was closer to the CL/Q.

Now I find myself wondering if I'm going to regret going with the Q3 after hearing about the white balance/color issues...

I did not run into WB or Colour issues... To be honest, I even like the colour rendition better than that of the M11 which is a little bit on the pink side.

I'll take the Q3 to Mykonos as I think the 26ish lens and the compactness are well suited for the narrow streets over there, now that I can hope that the camera will not crash on me again.

I absolutely love the Q3, and I’m saying that as a A7rV user. The fact that I can take macro & Astro pics and everything in between in such a compact package strikes the perfect balance for me.
