Leica vs. aftermarket M-Lens adapter for the SL2 - what's the advantage?

I have the Novoflex and the leica one. Both are made equally good. I prefer how the Novoflex looks and feels,  but the Leica one gives me 6 bit coding for my m Leica lenses.

If you are not using m 6 bit coded lenses, the Leica adapter doesn't give you any benefit.

You can also use the non Leica one and input manually the lens coding.

Which is only helpful for stabilization, but the selected lens and focal lens is not recorded in the exif data of the image.
