TLG Posted July 21, 2023 Share #1  Posted July 21, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) Nice as it would be to have a period case (ETRUX or ETRIN) for my Leica III, the cost and condition rule that option out. Instead I use a small ONA case (from a sale) and a few old Rollei cases. Outside strap: case 1: FB-07 lens hood, case 2: SBOOI Internal: modified lens pouch taped inside (for when needed) This makes for a small and easily portable system. Advertisement Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Hi TLG, Take a look here Travelling Light. Can't afford an ETRUX case, so.... I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Doug A Posted July 21, 2023 Share #2  Posted July 21, 2023 For traveling light I carry a Barnack with a collapsible Elmar or Summicron and a Voigtlander VC meter on a Domke Gripper strap under my jacket, or unbuttoned long sleeve shirt in the hot months. And I carry a spare FILCA cassette in my jeans coin pocket. My "heavy" kit is a Domke F-X5A. Room for a Barnack with collapsible Elmar or Summicron, Leitz table-top tripod w/ KGOON and a light meter. If I take the Digisix meter rather than the Weston I also have room for the 90/4 Elmar. A couple of FILCA cassettes a cable release and the 90mm VF (if needed) fit nicely in the outer pockets of the bag. The F-X5A in olive with the logo removed does not look at all like a camera bag.
