Missing Date and Time in Fotos Download - Leica SL

Hi, I have the latest Fotos app v4.0.2 on my iphone and there are some strange things happening. My Leica SL images are not being downloaded properly into the Fotos app and the iphone Photos app. I have changed and reformatted the SD cards, reinstalled Fotos on my iphone but the same thing occurs. The image is there in Fotos and also the iphone Photos folder but neither recognise the date and time of the photo and as a result are not sorted by date in those folders. Has anyone else had the same issue and any fix? Cheers Garry

Basic question:- have you checked/reset the date etc.. on the camera? Why not use the SD card in a card reader send it to your computer and see if the info is either there or not!  🍷

I have reset the date/time from GPS back to manual and tested photos. Still no time/date transferred by the Fotos app.

I have downloaded photos to the iPhone using the Apple SD card reader and that transfers the date/times OK of all the photos.

The Fotos app on the iPad also works OK and transfers the date/time of the photos that the iPhone app won't recognise. 

So my concern is that there is a setting or script between the Fotos app and the iPhone that doesn't work.'

I have raised this with Leica Fotos Support but they have not followed up yet the extra information I have provided to them.

Let's hope that an App update fixes it. The Fotos app is not a great piece of software as it takes some time to connect to the SL camera, and using the SD card reader with the iphone is much quicker. So not a great problem but it would be nice if the App worked.
