Here's the cable spaghetti. 100W Pwr, Q3 and SSD connected to a hub with the hub outputting to an iPad for choosing files for copying from Q3 to SSD. My motivation was to be able to backup during travel without a computer. The process was an interesting challenge. Being just rational I have never travelled making backups along the way previously. Accepting that, it's just simpler to buy more cards if capacity is the main concern. The ~80MB DNGs spooked me a little but a 128GB card will hold about 800 original form DNGs. Providing I don't choose the fastest ones they are inexpensive, and I don't need very high performance for travel photos. I don't shoot video. . Welcome, dear visitor!
