teilor Posted July 10, 2023 Share #1 Posted July 10, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I hear a spring sound on my M11 I’m using a Summilux 35mm lens, and when I turn the focus ring to infinity, I hear a spring-like “ping” sound. I rotated the focus ring from 7 to infinity, I heard a “ping” sound. Interestingly, I don’t hear this sound with my Zeiss 50mm lens, but I do experience a similar sound with the Voigtländer 35mm lens. Currently, the sound is not occurring consistently, but rather occasionally, and I have to put my ear near the mount area and concentrate to hear it. 나의 동영상.mov Edited July 10, 2023 by teilor

hmzimelka Posted July 11, 2023 Share #2 Posted July 11, 2023 (edited) I had this, and it's from the spring on the rangefinder arm in the camera... Mine eventually went away over time. I had this on the M10M also, but not nearly as pronounced. I would say it took about 6 months to work its way out of my M11. It was only at closer focusing distances, and only when racking focus from close to far, not the other way around. But I haven't heard it on my camera for many months. Hope that helps.
