Possible EVF fault?

Hi

I've been shooting with my Q3 for about 3 weeks now and I've noticed something odd when reviewing still images through the EVF, which I'm fairly sure was not happening at the beginning. If I play back a stills image on the rear LCD then, when I press the centre button, it alternates between showing a full image only and showing the top and bottom status bars, which is fine. If I do the same thing now while looking through the EVF it alternates between showing the expected status bars and showing blank (green/grey colour) bars at the top and bottom but never just the image without the bars. As I said, I'm sure this wasn't the case when I first got the camera but if anyone else is able to confirm whether this appears to be a fault that would be much appreciated. I've checked the manual and that would seem to suggest it's not normal behaviour.
