nariza7 Posted July 1, 2023 Share #1 Posted July 1, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) As a first time user for L-log video gamma, does anyone have any suggestion on what the exposure should be on? For instance, with S-log, usually I always expose about +1.7. Is there something similar with L-log to always exposure to some level?

CharlesWH Posted July 1, 2023 Share #2 Posted July 1, 2023 I don't have my Q3 yet, but a good approach with Log is to always use the Zebra display to set exposure. Set the exposure so the zebras just appear at the brightest spot, and maybe back that off just a little. This will give the widest dynamic range, which is usually the purpose of using log exposure. With this method you never look at the exposure meter. And I'm looking forward to taking some great videos with the Q3.
