erlingmm Posted November 11, 2007 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) No, I'm not talking about lens filters here, but a new function I would like on the Forum, sort of the opposite of the Buddy list, where I can personally filter out people who I consider of no value (or less than that) to the forum. Personally, I am not new to photography, but I am fairly new to Leica. This forum it a great source of learning for me, but like in most learning environments, they work best without "poisonous" comments from consistently negative people who seem to be of some kind of hunting expedition. When certain people consistently behave like this over time, I would like to filter them out. Is there, or can someone make such a filter?

andybarton Posted November 11, 2007 Share #3 Posted November 11, 2007 Sandy's advice is spot on. Every forum has its, erm, "characters", but not every forum has an "Ignore" button. The only people you can't ignore are mods
Guest Posted November 11, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 11, 2007 Great Idea, put my vote in for this one. Brian
carstenw Posted November 11, 2007 Share #5 Posted November 11, 2007 Erling and Brian, it already exists. See Sandy's remark. My list has been populated by about a dozen people for some time now, and it does improve the forum measurably. I still think that some people should simply be shafted, being of less than zero value.
