PBart Posted June 9, 2023 Share #1  Posted June 9, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've been using the SL2 for many years and have yet to find a good LUT for Premier Pro. I've use the ones provided by Leica and they are very disappointing. Can anyone share any sources for good LUTs? I was really expecting Leica to release better LUTs by now. Thanks! Giovanni Furlani Posted June 10, 2023 Share #2 Â Posted June 10, 2023 (edited) I agree with you PBart With SL2-S I use the Lut Leica Natural but it could be improved. With SL2 the problem is more serious. Â I currently use Lut Arri but some adjustments in color correction are needed Edited June 10, 2023 by Giovanni Furlani Language

The Arri Lut is the closest I can get with the SL2. I'm hearing that DiVinci Resolve supports Leica but never tried. Just don't want to switch to another editing system.

HipsdontLeica Posted June 15, 2023 Share #5  Posted June 15, 2023 biggest thing i learned when using the Leica stock LUTs in Premiere is to interpret the footage and under "Color Management" (bottom section) to Color Space Override to REC709. The LUTs are REC709 and i think if you shoot in cine mode on SL2-s, then it's colorspace is actually REC2020. don't ask me why but when i would interpret the footage this way, the LUTs produced WAYYY more accurate colors. Welcome, dear visitor! Photoworks Posted June 15, 2023 Share #6 Â Posted June 15, 2023 the color space has to be the same in the timeline and imported clips. If you have a timeline that is Rec709 you can use the Lut rec509. But in reality, a colorspace transform would me more accurate, the LUT offers limited editing...
