Colourise Posted June 3, 2023 Share #1 Posted June 3, 2023 Advertisement (gone after registration) I should be grateful for a bit of advice, please. I tried the Q3 at a Leica store and noticed that after taking a shot the viewfinder blackout was longer than my Q2. Is this something that is inherent in the design of the sensor or could it be improved in a firmware update? The firmware version in the demo camera was 1.0.0 thanks
Advertisement Posted June 3, 2023 Posted June 3, 2023 Hi Colourise, Take a look here Q3 Viewfinder Blackout . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Stuart Richardson Posted June 3, 2023 Share #2 Posted June 3, 2023 It is a known trade off. It is down to the slower readout speed of the 60mp sensor and the larger files. Perhaps they can improve it, but I don't think it will be able to match the Q2 given the technical characteristics of the sensor and processor.
