Hello Forum:

Is the Leitz Valoy Focomat condenser lens interchangable with the Leitz Focomat 1c? What challenges might I face if I buy a Valoy Focomat condenser lens and install it into my Leitz Focomat 1c enlarger? Many thanks for all insight.

Dan,

These condensers are not interchangable. Different diameters, different systems to mount into the enlarger and the condenser of the Valoy II is smaller that the Ic condenser.

You simply can't exchange them. Are you looking for a Ic condenser?

I am looking for a Leitz Focomat 1c condenser lens, preferably, with a Newton ring filter. I cannot find these items seperately on Ebay. How might you help?

Dan, the AN glass I don't have, the Ic condenser I do have. Postage is from Europe, the condenser won't be much. Send me a pm  . . .

I can ask a friend if he has the AN glass . . .

Michael, before you find out about the AN glass, what would my landed cost be to Reston, Virginia (USA Zip 20194)? This is a great start. Also, what platform would we use to make transactions? Many thanks!
