Somehow I now have a trio of Voigtlander 50's. After selling off all of my Leica gear in 2018, I tried to get by with a Nikon Df (too heavy) and a Nikon F for film but really missed having a M body for film. I found a 1967 M4 and while it was being serviced, it was time to find a lens. A  silver chrome Voigtlander 2.0 Collapsible Heliar, split off from the 250th anniversary kit, came up on another forum for a good price. It's more of an oddity than a collector piece but it's fun to use. A few years later, I bought a M4-2 from another forum member and decided to try the Nokton 50 1.5 ASPH V1. I found one for a bargain price and will keep it mostly just to have a fast 50 at hand. The last one was a surprise. I had sent a bunch of seldom used gear to KEH with the intention a just taking the cash. I hadn't seen anything to cath my interest till I started looking at LTM lenses for fun. They had a 50 2.5 Color-Skopar in black paint. I had sold one in the big sell off earlier and always regretted it. In a round about way, that's how I ended up with three 50's.
