o2mpx Posted May 22, 2023 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2023 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Looking to setup a lighter weight travel set for landscapes - Sigma fp-L with TL 11-23 and 18-56 zooms. Given Sigma’s 61mp sensor, the cropped files from TL lenses would still have a good amount to work with. Alternatively, assemble a Fuji since the newer models have a 40mp sensor, with a wide and mid range zoom as native APS-C setup. Thoughts? Advertisement Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Hi o2mpx, Take a look here Sigma fp-L with TL zooms or Fuji APS-C?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
oldwino Posted May 22, 2023 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2023 Why? Sigma makes several lightweight full-frame zoom lenses that would be perfect for travel.
o2mpx Posted May 22, 2023 Author Share #3 Posted May 22, 2023 That would be an additional option to go full frame Sigma. Since already have the TL zooms, thought that might be least disruptive option…unless file quality is higher with the Fuji or full Sigma setup.
